Behind La Valse Events is founder and creative director Jess LaBanz, known for pairing meticulous organization with a distinctly stylish point of view.
With experience at some of Palm Beach and South Florida’s most sought-after venues, Jess brings both creative instinct and seasoned expertise to every celebration—knowing when to push an idea further, when to edit, and how to bring countless moving pieces together seamlessly.

Long before weddings, there was ballet.
For most of my life, I dreamed of becoming a professional ballet dancer. The elegance, discipline, and artistry of ballet have stayed with me—and ultimately inspired the name La Valse, French for The Waltz.
My days may look different now, but in many ways, I still work in choreography. Only now, it’s celebrations I have the privilege of bringing to life.
When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll usually find me flipping through fashion and travel magazines for inspiration, watching a favorite classic romance with a glass of red wine, or dreaming up wherever I’m headed next.
